My stay at Douglas House left me quite satisfied. The location is perfect, just off the hectic Duval Street but tucked away in a quiet area. I loved the lush gardens and the charming pool, which was a great spot to relax and cool off. Room size felt spacious enough, and having a kitchenette made a huge difference for breakfast and snacks. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with recommendations. However, the shower pressure in the bathroom was pretty low, which was disappointing after long days in the heat. Also, the WiFi signal had a few hiccups during my stay. Just minor nuisances that didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the decor, while a bit dated, had a cozy, tropical vibe that made me feel at home. Would definitely stay again despite those small inconveniences.

The Superior King Suite was spacious and clean, with a perfect kitchenette. The high stained glass window let in beautiful morning light, which was a nice touch. The bathroom had a spa shower that felt luxurious. I could chill by the pool all day, and the staff were super friendly. Just a heads up, the shower pressure could have been better—really wanted that strong spray after a long day. A tiny thing, but worth mentioning.

Oh boy, the fruit salads at Flamingo Crossing were a tropical dream, bursting with flavor! Plus, how sweet is it to have a large bedroom loft and dedicated parking? That’s the Key West way of living!

No coffee in the room? Bummer! Had pots and cups but zero java to sip while in my PJs. Thankfully, the downstairs coffee was stellar, so all's well that ends well.
